The PIKE House

January 2019

Beta Phi | Purdue

Purdue University is the Second House of the Quarter Winner for 2018-19

The Beta Phi Chapter house is in a legendary location. It overlooks the University’s main pedestrian entrance to campus, directly across the street, which includes a massive iconic arch named “Gateway to the Future.” Highly visible, the Pike House is known for the four majestic Greek columns that adorn its front façade. Now better than ever, the first floor and basement were recently remodeled. The chapter touts the facility’s desirable living environment, with quiet study libraries and inviting space for recreation and lounging.

Their maintenance program includes daily cleaning duties assigned to all members as well as bi-weekly cleaning by a professional service. Oversight of repairs and more technical maintenance is outsourced to a third party. Wisely, the chapter also includes a line item in its semesterly budget for desired property enhancements.

Beta Phi’s adherence to the Fraternity’s recommended Operation and Condition Standards (OCS) enables them to effectively manage their PIKE House. Visit the link below to complete an assessment of how your chapter measures up to the operation and condition standards.
