PIKE Foundation Initiatives You Can Support!

Annual Fund Gift

Your unrestricted gift provides assistance for the greatest need, including Memorial Headquarters, the Gold Star Memorial, and scholarships and grants.

President’s Council

Our premier giving society for alumni and friends who invest directly in our future prosperity with an annual, tax-deductible gift of $1,000+ each year. Donors aged 30 years of age or younger can join by making a gift of $500+ each year.

1868 Club

We encourage recent graduates and young alumni to support the Foundation by donating $18.68/month for one year, or $224.16 total.

Chapter Endowment Funds

You can contribute directly to your chapter’s endowment fund which is used primarily for PIKE University. Higher endowment balances benefit more students.

Scholarship Endowment

Your gift can establish a named and international scholarship, housed within the Foundation’s endowment portfolio, which will continue in perpetuity. See a list of all chapter related scholarship opportunities here.

Pi Kappa Alpha Historical Society

Preserving and protecting the Fraternity’s rich history is vital to the Foundation’s mission. The Pi Kappa Alpha Historical Society, a unique entity formed under the Foundation’s 501c3 status, manages all the historical artifacts and relevant records contained within the museum, library and archive spaces throughout the Memorial Headquarters.  Your donations to the Pi Kappa Alpha Historical Society ensure the history and founding values of our Fraternity are preserved for future generations!

ΦΦΚΑ Club

You can personally make a gift of $25 or your chapter can make a group gift at 100% giving for $20 per chapter member. This amount can easily be budgeted into your chapter dues structure.

Health and Safety

Brother Blake Caummisar (Mississippi, Gamma Iota ’12), unexpectedly passed away in 2016. Since then, his parents, Beth and Stan Caummisar, have been advocating mental health awareness in hopes of saving the lives of others. Stan and Beth have played vital a role in launching the PIKE ULifeLine which offers members an online mental health resource center. Additionally, their support made the Generation RX suite of educational resources specifically about responsible and legal use of prescription medications that is available to all inter/national fraternal organizations. With the help of friends, family, PIKE brothers, and alumni, the Pi Kappa Alpha Foundation’s Blake Nicholas Caummisar Fund was created to provide funding for programs and initiatives to promote wellness and a healthy lifestyle for all Pikes.

Pledges

You can pledge specific gift amounts over a period of time.

Tribute Gifts

Any gift can be made in honor or memory of an individual.

Planned Gift

You may name the Foundation as a beneficiary of a will, charitable trust or permanent life insurance policy through the Oak Trust Society. If you’ve named the Foundation as a designee for any of your planned giving, please download the Oak Trust Statement of Intent and submit it to our office so we can honor you as a member of the Oak Trust Society! You can also create your own will for free using our online tool from Free Will and name PIKE as a beneficiary.

Stocks, Bonds, and Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)

Donating appreciated assets avoids capital gains taxes and is tax-deductible, plus the PIKE Foundation receives the full market value.  Access the brokerage name, account number, DTC and instructions on this form.  Please contact a member of the Foundation staff if you wish to make a gift of securities so we know your donation is coming or if you have any questions. You can also make your donation online.

Vehicle Donations

The PIKE Foundation is able to accept donations of cars, trucks, RVs, motorcycles, boats, and airplanes in nearly all conditions to help advance our mission through our partnership with CARS (Charitable Adult Rides and Services).

Cryptocurrency

Donating cryptocurrency, like Bitcoin, is safe, easy and tax-efficient. The benefits are similar to donating appreciated stocks, where the donor doesn’t have to pay capital gains taxes and it is tax deductible. Donate through our partner The Giving Block.

Engraved Brick

Our Lighty-Wade Pavilion & Courtyard at the Memorial Headquarters is decorated with over 2,000 bricks honoring brothers, friends, and family members from more than 200 chapters across North America. Donate $150 to have your personalized brick engraved and cement your legacy!

Property Donations

The PIKE Foundation is able to accept donations of property (land, homes, commercial, etc.) in nearly all conditions to help advance our mission through our partnership with Giving Property.

Corporate Matching Gifts

We recently partnered with Double the Donation, so when making your online donation, click on the “Company Match” and enter the name of your employer to see if they potentially provide matching gifts.  It’s a great way to double your impact!
