Collin McMenamin as June 2018 Pike of the Month

Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity is pleased to announce Collin McMenamin (San Diego State, Delta Kappa ’17) as the June 2018 Pike of the Month. Pike of the Month award recipients demonstrate the True Pike ideals, working to improve themselves and having a positive impact on their chapters, campuses, and communities.

McMenamin, a junior at San Diego State University, was nominated for demonstrating superior leadership in his chapter, on campus, and in the community.

On campus, he serves as president of the College of Business Council, vice president of the scholarship and accreditation for Interfraternity Council, and treasurer for the sailing team.

McMenamin maintains a presence on the Dean’s List of Academic Success, is a Magna Cum Laude honor graduate, and obtained an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from the College of Canyons before transferring to San Diego State University.

Outside of the classroom, McMenamin volunteers as a crew member for Sailing Heals, an organization that takes cancer patients sailing to help relieve the stress of treatment. He also serves as a project assistant at Clay Elementary School.

McMenamin serves his chapter as a vice president of membership development. He also had a hand in managing GreekLife EDU and the implementation of the True Pike Experience.

He will be graduating with a bachelor of arts in business marketing in hopes to begin a career in the biotechnology field.
