On October 20, 2018, Gamma Rho Chapter (Northwestern) hosted its inaugural charity concert benefitting the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization. The men raised $6,700 with the event — the largest amount of money raised for a charity in chapter history.

Chapter members started selling advance tickets two weeks before the concert and sold nearly $1,000 worth of tickets at the door. Miami-based DJ Landis headlined the event, and Alex Manrique ’18 opened the night with a DJ set of his own.

NAMI is dedicated to improving the lives of millions of Americans affected by mental illness. Funds raised for the organization help provide a national network of support and resources, both online and in communities across the country. Learn more about the organization by visiting www.NAMI.org.
