Colin Eacobellis Recognized as Pike of the Month

Colin Eacobellis (Cal State - Fullerton, Mu Epsilon '15) is the April 2017 Pike of the Month.

MEMPHIS, TN - Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity is pleased to announce Colin Eacobellis (Cal State-Fullerton, Mu Epsilon ’15) as the April 2017 Pike of the Month. Pike of the Month award recipients demonstrate the True Pike ideals, working to improve themselves and having a positive impact on their chapters, campuses, and communities.

Eacobellis, a sophomore at California State-Fullerton, was nominated for demonstrating superior leadership in his chapter, on campus, and in the community.

Eacobellis serves as president of the Interfraternity Council and works in the community as a lead facilitator at the Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center.

The Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center serves youth in Orange County by providing quality outdoor educational programs, instilling an appreciation of the outdoors and the environment, teaching effective teamwork, instructing about the cultural history of Orange County, and providing access to the natural resources of the surrounding areas. Eacobellis has led groups ranging from six to 100 people of all ages and backgrounds through high adventure ropes courses, zip-lining, rock walls and other activities designed to challenge people, build confidence, and instill a sense of teamwork.

Additionally, Eacobellis has held numerous positions within Mu Epsilon Chapter, including the recruitment team, judicial board, public relations, and new member education committees. As a business communications major, Eacobellis aspires to work in public relations or broadcast media and possibly serve in public office.
