MEMPHIS, TN – William H. “Bill” Vogle (Tulsa, Gamma Upsilon '66) was recognized with Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity’s Loyalty Award for his service to the Fraternity and his community. Established in 1969, the Loyalty Award was created to annually recognize an alumnus who has displayed significant support to the Fraternity at either the local or international level.

Vogle served the Fraternity for 28 years in multiple roles including alumni association president, regional president for Arkansas and Oklahoma, and advisor for Gamma Upsilon Chapter. He currently serves as president for Gamma Upsilon Chapter House Corporation and financial advisor for the Chapter’s alumni advisory board.

Vogle is a dedicated volunteer with Up With Trees, a nonprofit dedicated to beautifying greater Tulsa by planting trees and creating urban forestry awareness through education. The organization recognized him with multiple awards for his service including the Operations Award for Service and the Sid Patterson Lifetime Achievement Award for making an enduring impact on Tulsa’s urban forest.

He also served his community as a member of the Rotary Club of Tulsa, a member of University of Tulsa’s Alumni Association Board of Directors, and the University of Tulsa Greek Advisory Council.

For his extensive service to the Fraternity and his significant impact on his community, the Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity is proud to honor William H. “Bill” Vogle with the 2017 Loyalty Award.
