Matt Doherty joins Pike with Beta Zeta

Welcome to the fraternity

SMU men's basketball coach Matt Doherty was inducted into the Pi Kappa Alpha (Pike) fraternity Monday night. Doherty, who continually tries to reach out to the campus community, told me Tuesday that he did indeed learn the secret handshake.

But that was about the only detail I got out of him.

He said he wasn't at liberty to tell me more. You know, brotherhood and all that.
