 Accomplishments:
The spring and summer of 2006 saw even more improvements to Theta Lambda's facility. The chapter did an excellent job adding a privacy fence to the back yard and building a wooden walkway connecting the main building to the coach house - improving both the security and aesthetics of the property. Also, on the exterior, the steps and porch on the south entrance were reset, better sealing the basement from water intrusion, and the large flagstone steps along the main sidewalks were reconditioned. During the 2005-2006 academic year, the alumni hired a company to print and mail their semi-annual newsletters and maintain the website.
| Goals: |
| • |
Improve communications and better relationship with the chapter |
| • |
Hire a professional property manager |
| • |
Develop an annual giving program for alumni |
| • |
Improve the chapter’s International Work Day program by investing house corporation funds into successful projects |
| • |
Further alumni relations and continue to grow involvement in the house corporation. Interested alumni should contact Chris Kriegler at 402-319-5077. |

 Accomplishments:
The Delta Omicron Housing Corp. acquired Pi Kappa Alpha's newest house in August 2006! With the help of a very generous donor, they were able to utilize the Pi Kappa Alpha Educational Foundation's Dynasty Fund Program, a creative donation vehicle and loan program, enabling Delta Omicron to purchase an 8,500 square foot, 22-man, fully furnished property situated at the beginning of Drake's Greek Row. The old sorority house was equipped with masculine furnishings so it was immediately ready for the chapter. The local corporation is already off on the right foot - hiring a professional property management company to ensure the new facility is managed properly.
Goals:
- Apply for an Educational Facilities Grant
- Conduct an energy audit and life safety inspection
- Launch a successful capital campaign

Accomplishments:
Since the House Corporation was reactivated in 1997, Zeta Sigma has completed a major renovation valued at $130,000. This included new plumbing, bathrooms, electrical system, heating/cooling, alarm systems, siding, windows and roof. In recent years we have resurfaced the south drive, purchased a new commercial gas stove, added steel combination lock entry doors and obtained IRS 501(c)(7) tax exemption. In late 2003 through early 2004, the Chapter sought alumni support to fund renovation of the kitchen and begin river front improvements. Through an excellent alumni relations programming and fundraising the Chapter was able to raise $35,000 to fund this project. Quotes are now being received on the kitchen work and to do the shoreline erosion protection plans and permits. Additionally, the house corporation membership has shown significant growth over the last two years.
Please visit the Zeta Sigma website through the link found below to see extensive photos of the property.
Goals:
- Continue recruiting interested alumni to serve on the board
- Complete renovations to the kitchen
- Begin shoreline work through obtaining erosion protection plans and permits

Congratulations to Delta Lambda at Florida State University! They accomplished their goal of building a new 59 capacity house in the new Greek Row near campus. The structure is a classic Greek Revival style and is basically an apartment building/fraternity house hybrid that is designed to meet the demands of the student housing market. It contains two-bedroom, two-bath apartments with common space sufficient to meet the needs of the fraternity.

Congratulations to Zeta Rho for completing construction and moving into their new chapter house. Their old house was destroyed by flood waters. Because the house was not located in a "flood zone" that would have signaled the requirement for flood insurance, they had no coverage when the "500 year flood" hit the region in the spring of 1997. After an extensive capital campaign and an extremely fast-paced construction schedule, the chapter moved into their new house in 2004.
